2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase a plan. If you are under 18, you may use VAPTIC only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Accounts are personal. You may not share, sell, transfer or allow another person to use your account or your lab credentials.
- Tell us immediately at info@vaptic.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may suspend or close accounts that share credentials, as this directly affects lab capacity for other students.
3. Our Services
VAPTIC provides online cybersecurity education. Depending on the plan you purchase, this may include course material, structured modules with knowledge checks, browser-based cloud lab access, live instructor-led classes, and recordings of those classes.
3.1 Lab Explorer — ₹599 per month
- A recurring monthly subscription providing self-paced access to course modules and the browser-based Kali Linux lab environment.
- Lab access is limited to one session per day, up to three hours per session.
- A portion of the practical lab guides is reserved for the full course plan and is not included.
- Modules unlock progressively as you complete the knowledge check for each preceding module.
3.2 Full Course — ₹14,999
- A three-month programme including live instructor-led classes, complete access to all modules and lab guides, and lifetime access to recordings of the live sessions delivered during your batch.
- Live classes run in scheduled batches. Batch dates and timings are communicated before the programme begins.
3.3 College Workshops
- Workshops are booked by an institution, not by individual students, with a minimum of 100 participants.
- Pricing is ₹200 per student for a one-day workshop and ₹300 per student for a two-day workshop.
- Lab access for workshop participants is provided for the duration of the workshop only.
We may add, modify or discontinue features to improve the platform. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you in advance.
4. Payments & Renewal
- All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and are payable in advance.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
- Lab Explorer is a monthly subscription. Access runs for 30 days from the date of successful payment and must be renewed to continue.
- Access to paid features begins once payment is confirmed by the payment gateway. If a payment is initiated but not confirmed, access is not granted and any amount debited is returned by the gateway.
- Applicable taxes are charged as required by Indian law and shown at checkout where applicable.
- We may revise prices at any time. A price change never affects a subscription period you have already paid for.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Acceptable Use of Labs
This is the most important section of these terms. Please read it carefully.
VAPTIC provides an isolated, private training environment containing intentionally vulnerable machines that exist solely so you can practise offensive security techniques lawfully. Your Kali Linux instance and the target machines are connected over a private network and are not exposed to the public internet.
The techniques taught on VAPTIC are illegal when used against systems you do not own or do not have written authorisation to test. Under the Information Technology Act, 2000, unauthorised access to a computer system is a criminal offence in India.
You agree that you will:
- Use the lab environment only for lawful learning, and only against the target machines provided inside it.
- Never direct any scanning, exploitation, denial-of-service, brute-force or other offensive activity from our infrastructure toward any system outside the lab environment — including VAPTIC's own production systems, other students' machines, your college, your employer, or any third party.
- Not use lab machines for cryptocurrency mining, spam, hosting, proxying traffic, or any purpose unrelated to the course.
- Not attempt to escape the lab network, escalate privileges on the underlying host, or access another student's environment.
We monitor lab infrastructure for outbound abuse. Activity directed outside the lab environment will result in immediate termination without refund, and may be reported to our hosting provider and to law enforcement.
6. Prohibited Conduct
In addition to the lab rules above, you may not:
- Record, download, reproduce, resell or publicly share our course material, lab guides or class recordings.
- Share your account, lab credentials or recording links with anyone else.
- Attempt to bypass module locks, payment controls, session limits or any other access control on the platform.
- Interfere with the operation of the platform, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to VAPTIC's production systems or another user's account.
- Impersonate VAPTIC, our instructors, or any other person.
- Upload or transmit unlawful content through the platform.
Note that VAPTIC's production website and systems are not part of the training scope and are not authorised targets for testing of any kind.
7. Intellectual Property
All course content, lab guides, module material, class recordings, the VAPTIC name and logo, and the platform itself remain the property of Offsys Labs Private Limited or our licensors.
When you purchase a plan you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access that content for your own learning, for the duration of your plan. You receive no other rights.
Third-party tools and target applications used in the labs — including Kali Linux, DVWA, OWASP Juice Shop, Metasploitable, WebGoat, bWAPP and others — remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own licences.
8. No Placement or Certification Guarantee
We want to be completely clear about what we do and do not promise.
- VAPTIC does not guarantee employment, placement, internships, interviews or any career outcome. We do not offer placement assistance as part of any plan.
- VAPTIC is not an accredited university and our completion certificates are not academic qualifications.
- VAPTIC is not an authorised training partner of EC-Council, CompTIA or Cisco. Our courses are structured around publicly documented exam syllabi to help you learn the subject matter. Purchasing a VAPTIC plan does not include any official certification exam voucher, official courseware, or registration with the certifying body.
- Certification names referenced on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the subject matter covered.
What we do promise is working lab infrastructure, honest teaching, and material that reflects real practice.
9. Availability & Technical Requirements
The labs run in a browser. You need a modern browser and a stable internet connection. A slow or unstable connection will affect the remote desktop experience, and this is outside our control.
Provisioning a fresh lab machine typically takes up to 20 minutes on first launch. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced where practical; unplanned outages may occur.
Lab machines are destroyed at the end of each session. Do not store anything in a lab machine that you cannot afford to lose — save your notes and findings locally.
10. Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity arising from your use of the platform.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to VAPTIC in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You are solely responsible for how you apply the knowledge gained through our courses. We accept no liability for any act you carry out against a system you were not authorised to test.
11. Suspension & Termination
You may stop using VAPTIC at any time and may cancel a subscription as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these terms — in particular the acceptable use rules in section 5. Where termination follows a serious breach, such as directing attacks outside the lab environment, no refund is given.
On termination, your access to modules, labs and recordings ends.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be notified by email or through the platform.
